Hello, fellow gamers.

My pseudonym is Wootles, I hail from the large flat agricultural mass of the United States with my Wife. I live in the mid-west in a small city known as Champaign (Volition [Saints Row] calls this home). No, I do not work for them, and no I can't get you any free Saints Row Merchandise. I just thought I would share that fun fact is all.

I have been playing PC games since the early 90's. I learned a great deal of how computers worked by trying to get my favorite game of the decade to run on the old 386. Aces over Europe was a fine game that I lost many hours to, even when the IRQ settings for having sound were wrong. It's been a few decades and my tastes have shifted a bit. Today I find myself fixtuated on Skyrim, but that doesn't mean tomorrow will be. My Steam library is overfilled with gaming delight, and I do enjoy a great variety of games. Some games I always seem to come back to are: TF2, ARMA series, Audiosurf, Total War series, Most things Paradox (Come on Crusader Kings 2! Come out already!), Killing Floor, and Tropico. I tend to play these games on the days that I'm not working twelve hour shifts, or when I'm not studying. Yes, college never seems to end.

I just happened upon a link within your steam page taking me to this amazing group. I've been wanting to find an older group of gamers for a while now. I've started to find a few white hairs on my scalp, and figured it's probably time to either find some others who might be a bit older that enjoy this hobby, or go take up golf. My drive tends to swing for the sand traps, so I thought I would apply for membership instead.

If you need answers to any questions that come up, just let me know. I may even tell you my blood type.
