Hola, and greetings...

After spending some time looking at all of the guilds being formed for SWTOC, I kept coming back to TOG... Impressed with the quality of the recruitment, when most guilds are just spam accepting everyone who applies. So here goes with the required stuff...

Currently playing, well, SWTOR, at least in beta. This is my third go around this weekend. Prior to that, I've played pretty much everything at least once starting with Meridian 59 and forward. Those of you who have been around know the path.. (M59 - UO- EQ - and so on). Most recently was playing Rift, but do not plan to play anything else. If the game is as solid as I've seen so far, I'll be here for some time.

On a personal level, I'm an IT Director by day. Travel a bit and when I go, I typically take my gaming laptop and headset. I play most weeknights and some weekends, and living in AZ, am a west coast player/raider.

I don't want to date myself for first gaming counsole, but let's just say it was a few years before the Commodore 64 and leave it at that. I did do quite a bit of pen and paper back in high school and college (D&D/TS, etc).

As for why TOG, well it really again comes down to the quality that I've seen in the selection process. If you are taking to the time to get all this down, that tells me that some significant effort is being made to get this guild going in a manner that will keep it around past the typical 90 day start that I've seen with most games. I'm looking for a home, not a hotel if you know what I mean.
