Information about yourself
I live in the Silicon Valley, just south of San Francisco California. I work for a large company in a cube farm, waiting for the day the execs decide they want to eat sbq veal and come looking for me with a big hammer. In the meantime I try to stay active and read, and watch my Chicago Blackhawks on their run for a 5th cup (NHL ice hockey team for you non-north americans). As you can tell from my gaming history I'm "older", 42 years old, and starting to feel it.

Information about your gaming history (i.e. first gaming console, or pen and paper game, etc)
I started with the original Pong game, played on the Atari Pong console (not to be confused with Pong on the 2600). My first taste of online gaming came in the BBS days, though I couldn't tell you what games I played. I got started in MMO's with Ultima Online in 1999, and I've been hooked on them ever since, though I occasionally swear I'm going to give them up for good and go cold turkey. I've played:

• UO
• DAoC
• WoW
• LoTRO
• AoC
• WAR
• RIFT
• EVE
• Glitch

And numerous betas that aren't worth mentioning. The big ones that held my attention the longest are UO, WoW, and EVE, though I currently am not active in any of those.


Why you'd like to join TOG
You guys seem like you'd be great fun to be around, plus I'm interested in joining your Rift guild. I plan on being a casual player in Rift, I did hardcore raiding in WoW and I'm done with that type of gameplay.

Anything else you'd like to share
I like cheese, though it doesn't like me. I actually thought about joining you guys a few years ago when I beta'd WAR, but then that game went south and I went back to my WoW guild.
