Hi,
I came across this group a few months ago while searching for something (who knows what, I am "older" after all) and think it may be time to formally join. Mid-40's, engineer by training but really more of a professional problem solver than anything else these days. I currently play EVE (a lot) and expect I'll be spending some time in SW:TOR starting next week or whenever the early access pass arrives. I also occasionally play Wizard 101 with my kids -- helping my oldest out with that is what finally pushed me into trying other MMOs (knew it would be time consuming...) I believe the oldest machine I ever played a game on was an original Pong (or maybe it was 2nd gen.) I also remember a sci-fi, maybe Star Trek game running on a Wang business machine from around then. A year or two later I came across an adventure game on Apple II where you actually had access to the source and thought modifying that game was really cool. Why join TOG? Mostly to find like-minded players and/or others who are scheduled-challenged. Some weeks I'm very much in "casual gamer" mode playing for an hour or two after everyone else is in bed. Others I work from home and AFK mission or mine and chat in EVE for hours on end while on conference calls. So my gaming hours tend to be somewhat unpredictable. I think that's enough for now...
