[DONE] TOG Application

Greetings all,

My name is Fraser and I am interested in joining TOG.

Personal Background

I grew up in Scotland and moved to Perth, Western Australia when I was 12. I am employed as a Lawyer, specializing in litigation and in particular Courtroom advocacy.

Gaming Background
My first console was a Sega Mega Drive. Although I had played games on the old 'pre floppy disks'. I cannot recall the exact description at this moment. I have had a PS1, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and more recently a PS3. I have also had various PCs which were usually crammed with games (doom, duke nukes etc)

As explained I have recently bought a ps3 and game on that. However, my application to TOG has been brought on by SWTOR. I played the beta and it was a hoot. I then preordered and have been hooked since. SWTOR will, surprisingly, be my first MMO. I think TOG will be a great bunch of people to play with and hopefully will encourage more online play.

I wouldn't classify myself a hardcore gamer but it is not uncommon for me to play 12 hour stints.

On the kitchen table game front I spent a long time as a Magic: The Gathering player. I still play causally but played competitively (as competitive as MTGO and the Perth scene allowed) during my university days.

Interests
Outside of work and gaming I am also an avid Freemason.

Why I want to join
As explained I am now venturing into an MMO. I want to get the most possible out of this experience and I feel a guild will be the best way to do this. I spent about 3 hours during beta in a group with two other players doing quests together. This was the most enjoyable part of the experience for me. I also hope that guild mates from SWTOR will encourage more online play with friends. I currently also play SC2 and have Diablo 3 pre ordered.
