Currently I am playing BF2 and SWG.

Welcome to TOG Bossman!

I'm the BF2 Team Captain for the US/NA (North American) TOG Ghosts squad. It's in the 8v8 TWL NA Ladder. Right now we're starting to really improve and we won our last match and the two matches before went into overtime (and we should've won those too!). So things are heating up.

We have another team as well, the TOG Wraiths. It's in the 5v5 Infantry-only TWL ladder (No Arty or Vehicles), if you'd be interested in playing for them let TOG dj hurtin know about that.

Our TOG Ghosts team is very friendly, slightly competitive in attitude, but not a single one of us would ever hassle someone for not doing well in a match or something like that. We play for fun but we try to do the best we can. This includes strategy session via thread postings and using ATC (cool drawing board program that uses the maps from BF2...you can download it here: www.foolishentertainment.com) AND we are going to start having more regular scrims as well, along with our matches. Attendance to the scrims or strategy sessions are NOT mandatory, though your team captain would GREATLY appreciate your dedication in attending them.

How we determine our squad for a match is basically by first-come, first-served. What I do is either challenge a team or WE are challenged and then I put a thread up in our RESTRICTED forum entitled, "THE WAR ZONE" about the dates of the match and I open the 8 slots for people to sign up. If you can make the match and the practices for the match, great! If not, no problem too!

Here's what you need to do next:

1. Go to the TWL site at: www.teamwarfare.com and REGISTER there and then login

2. Once you're done registering there you will still need to add your "PunkBuster Game USER ID" or GUID to your TWL account, to do this you need to fire up BF2 and get into an unpopulated (preferably) multiplayer server, then hit the tilde key "`" (it's the key to the left of the number one key at the top left corner of your keyboard). This will bring down the command console. Then type in "pb_myguid" (don't include the quotation marks). This will bring up a very long line of numbers and/or letters. Write down the very last 8 digits in that list of numbers/letters. This will be your BF2 punkbuster game user ID (GUID).

3. Return to TWL and click on your login name at the top left right next to the FORUMS button. Then a pop-down window will open and select, "ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE", another pop-out window will open and select, "PROFILE". Once that screen is open, down by the middle of the screen you'll see the words, "ANTI-SMURF IN-GAME IDENTIFIERS" and below that you'll see the words "Add Another ID", click on those words and it will have a drop-down list of games to select from ...you want to choose Battlefield 2 PB GUID, then in the box below that, enter the 8-digit value that you recorded earlier in Step 2 (above).

4. NOW (finally!) you can go and find either or both of our TOG teams and sign up for them (which you need to do in order to be able to play for the teams on the TWL ladder). To find the TOG Ghosts go back to the main TWL page and click on the header link that says, "COMPETITION" and then select, "BATTLEFIELD 2" from the links on the left side. Then click on, "Battlefield 2: NA - 8v8 Conquest Ladder" and it will list all the teams in that ladder, of which TOG Ghosts are ranked #118. At the bottom of the lists on the right are links for each group of rankings, you can find #118 that way fastest. Once you see our name in the rankings just click on it and it will bring you to the team page. From there all you have to do is click at the bottom of our roster list where it says, "JOIN TEAM". It will pop up a little window that will ask you for your login name (if I recall correctly) and the team password. In order to get the team password, you have to officially have joined TOG first and posted in the Hot Spot forums. I can give it to you there once you've reached these stage of the process.

5. Once you've done that, just return to the HOT SPOT forums and enter a new message topic stating that you've officially signed up for TOG Ghosts and would like to be granted access to the RESTRICTED 'WAR ZONE' forums where we post all of our match news. An admin, aka K2, will be along shortly to grant you access to those forums and viola! you are in like flynn!

Whew! Hope that all made sense to you!! It can be hard to find all that info from piecing it together out of all the other forums...

I hope you can join soon, we have a scrim tonight at 10:00EST and a match on Thursday around 9:00 EST. I think we might be full already for our Thursday match but we could use some bodies for our scrim tonight! Also be sure to find our TeamSpeak info in the forums and jump in to that, it's very easy to use and very clear (works great!)...
