Hi Everyone,
A little about me; I've been gaming for years and years, and it's thoroughly ingrained into my blood. So much, in fact, that a couple years ago I decided to go into full time game development, which was a little ambitious, but I love it so much that I can't stop. I did Computer Systems Engineering at Uni, although went into Food afterwards where I created a line of Indian simmer sauces in Melbourne, called Ameet's Homestyle. I'm of Indian descent, but I was born in England (Nottingham), my folks were born in Kenya, and I now live in Melbourne, Australia - phew. I also sat and passed the Mensa test about 3 years ago...but please don't hold that against me!
I'm also married to an amazingly beautiful woman who's expecting our first child, but is currently on bed rest because of complications (fingers, toes and eyes crossed!). At the moment I'm 32, but of course that may change by the time you read this

.
I'll answer the questions in the faq too, since they seem like good ones.
What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
SW:TOR, as I expect that'll take most of my free time the coming while.
What was the first machine you played games on or pen and paper game you played?
The first I got my mitts on was Atari 2600 of my cousins. The first I ever owned was the C64, but not till I was about 11.
Why do you want to join TOG?
Lots of reasons; a generational gap is becoming more obvious in games, its nice to play with people who are going through the same life things as me, not many of my RL friends are gamers (so I feel like it's a choice between friends and games, when it doesn't have to be so), and eventually, hopefully find a group of experienced gamers to test my own game in progress! I feel like older gamers will understand my needs as much as I can understand about theirs, and I'm willing to support that.
url for game blog:
Blistering Developers Log - Blistering Developers That Develop Blistering Games! - its in pretty early stages (1 year dev time so far), but I'm doing it by my lonesome. There's a blog and some videos up for your amusement.
Why has it taken you so long to apply to join TOG? I mean, you're 32 for Pete's sake.
My that's a very good question! Truth is I'd only just heard of it ><...but I would certainly have applied a lot sooner if I'd known.
