Hi all,

Want to take this opportunity to post a bit about myself. I am looking to join a guild for SWTOR and I have a friend in the guild and he recommended this guild and site. He had quite a lot of positive remarks and thought I might fit in well.

I am a casual gamer. I am in my late 30s with a more than a full time job and am married with 2 kids. Needless to say there are great demands on my time. I make time for gaming usually at night after everyone has gone to bed for the evening.

When I was growing up, I played on consoles. Atari 2600 (played Moon Patrol quite a bit), Nintendo, then Super Nintendo (I like the Mario Bros, Zelda and Final Fantasy games), then switched over to PC Gaming. Really liked the Half Life series, Homeworld series, and Warcraft and Starcraft, but I never jumped on the MMO bandwagon until World of Warcraft.

That was an eye opener. Didn't really know if I would like MMO, but I must say I it was great. Now certainly as I started, I was just a mindless DPS. "Hulk Smash!!" was pretty much my motto. It took me a while then to break into getting the full effect of grouping and raiding and what role I really wanted to be. I must say I did like tanking and I did like healing. They were challenging at times sure, but I did enjoy them. Well, let me say I did enjoy them when grouping with people that were patient.

As I said, I am a casual gamer, I am not hard core. If we are on a dungeon run and we make mistakes and wipe, so be it. No I don't think it's fun to wipe, but let's learn from it and move forward. I am not a perfect tank or a perfect healer or a perfect DPS. Are there times when we done have the right group strength or make up to make it all the through, sure, but let's take it as far as we can go to learn and maybe get some loot.

As for my schedule, I am a late player. I will log in around 8-9 pm Mountain Time. Now I do live in Arizona, which does not recognize Daylight Savings. So during the winter, I am on Mountain Time and in the summer I am on Pacific Time. I have a really busy time of year from Sept-Oct. There will be times that I will go a week or two without logging in as I am really busy with work and kids activities at school. Late December through late March are busy as well, but not as much. I can find time to get on at least a couple of times a week. Summer time is pretty slow for me.

There is probably more here than anyone wanted to know, but I wanted to give you a full picture and be up front and honest. If want to chat with me, I will be in SWTOR as Jedi Consular Virt or Republic Trooper Racann.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
