[DONE] Introduction Post for Membership Application

Good evening all.

Would like to introduce myself to the community in order to apply for membership to TOG. My RL name is Steve and I'm 38 years old. I've been married for 16 years and have 2 great kids ages 15 and 13. I work as a Financial Advisor in a Major Canadian Bank and live in Ontario Canada.

My parents bought me a Commodore 64 when I was approx 9 years old and I also owned a miniature arcade version of Pac-Man which ran on 4 D cell batteries. Started playing D&D at age 12 and have played on and off for most of the intervening 26 years. Great fun!

My first experience with MMORPG's was Everquest which I played approx 6 years. Since then it has been many other MMORPG's including EQ2, DAoC, Diablo 1 & 2, Neverwinter Knights, Warhammer, WOW, Age of Conan, Rift, D&D online, and most recently Star Wars Old Republic. I'm sure there are other games in there I have forgotten.

I'm good friends with at least a couple of your existing members and was referred by one in particular. I take my gaming seriously but certainly have perspective where gaming fits in my family life. Typically I will game 2-3 hours 2-3 nights per week (between 7pm and 10pm est). I enjoy grouping with mature, experienced gamers as my experiences with "young, petulant, abusive" gamers has left a rather bad taste in my mouth.

I hope my post has given you all some insight into the kind of person and gamer I am and I look forward to hearing your decision regarding my membership status.
