Greetings earth-humans,

My friend Xidon Rayn turned me on to your group and it sounds just up my alley. So tired of little kids. . .and especially their racism and bigotry (wth is up with that?)

I'm currently playing TOR but might be interested in Trek Online now that it's free to play. . . but I'll probably spend my time more with Star Wars, my first true love. Seriously, one of my favorite games of all time is the original Star Wars arcade game with the wire-frames, the fighters, etc. I had a coleco vision, an NES (and basically every nintendo console since then), sega genesis, and the wife has forbidden me from owning an xbox or playstation because she'd never see me ever again.

I am an addicted casual gamer. I don't take games too seriously, even if I'm sometimes putting 10-15 hrs a week into it. I love to have fun, and while I got bored with WoW, I never got bored of my friends and guildmates. Looking to create some more of those relationships with this group.

I also write for BigShinyRobot, a geek news website that does fairly well for itself in terms of traffic and readership. My robot nom de plume is CitizenBot. But since I couldn't do my political blogging there, I also started DarthPolitico, which is an infrequently updated blog about the intersection of geek and politics. (see my article on how Mitt Romney is a cylon)
