Hey,

This was interesting. I actually just now found out about this community through the eve online recruitment forums (Grey Nomads) and it sounds like its for me

I'm born 77, live in sweden and work with software engineering. I have been a computer nerd since I got my first C64 and started gaming and programming on the thing. Now I'm happily married with children and as most (older) guys have a busy life. But gaming is one of my biggest "hobbies" together with guitars (i never watch TV).

I'm currently heavily investigating Eve Online after years of lurking I'm new to MMOs (though not multiplayer) and I would really like to join a corporation in Eve with fellows in my position (can not play all the time - casual, no teen-talk etc but still competitive and looking for action). Seems like TOG is a perfect fit!

Back in the days I have been through a lot of games, my fondest memories are C64 Raid over moscow, eagles nest?, then PC space quest, some role playing with pen and paper: call of cthulu, got stuck on Counter-Strike for a long time (I rock in that).

Now it's mostly XBOX360, PS3 but also Eve so I have returned a bit to the PC. Also playing Skyrim (waiting for patch) and Battlefield3. Will be on the fence to check out DUST 514 when it arrives.
