Hey all,

I'm Artur, aka pandaflex. I'm 27-year-old PhD student and live in LA. I'm joining up primarily to play BF3 -- when bf2142/NS was still fairly populated, I played quite a bit of that (some even on TOG servers, which was good fun). Some time ago I was fairly heavy into WoT, and before that EVE, though those have largely dropped off. I usually play nightly from about 11pm -2am, and oftentimes on weekends (i.e Sat 4-8 or so). I want to join ToG because when I played on the TOG servers in bf2142, there was a sense of maturity,community, and cooperation which I am yet to experience in bf3. A good squad working together can really tear things up in that game, and it irks me that everyone just...runs around.

As far as gaming past...I recall playing Dune 2 and Sid meyer's Colonization on a x486 with a whopping 40mb of ram. Those were some goood times. Then...the usual smattering of Warcraft II, Lords of the Realm / Settlers, AoE, various Civs. Diablo I & II. Played the same pally / meteorb sorceress combo with two diff gfs (lulz). C&C / Red Alert. lvled to 80 and raided a bit in WoW,but quit due to job-like commitment it required to be any good. Elder Scrolls (oblivion and skyrim). Mass Effect. Dragon Age:Origins. Witcher 2. lots of things, lol...I play games

As far as me-- I'm a fairly typical phd student -- lots of work and very little play. I do computational/theoretical chemistry. yeah. I like furry cats, strong beer, good cheese, cycling, redheads, and avocados on everything. oh, and I speak Russian.
