TOG - The Older Gamers

Hey gang, I stumbled onto TOG searching for EVE corps, and here I am. I am 36 years old, live in southern Indiana, USA and have played games all of my life it seems. I have read the AUP and FAQ, so here's my pitch and history: First game was Oregon Trail on an old Deckwriter in public school (text only-it printed out what do!). From that lowly start it descended into madness, from Vic-20 and C-64 ownership, affairs with the Atari 400,800 (still own) and Amiga, to the current crop of PC's.
My first multiplay experience was M.U.L.E on the C-64 and I have been hooked ever since. Past favorites included C&C, UT, Half Life and various mods, EQ and EQ2, CoH. Depending on the mood I play RP, FPS, SIMS, or MMO's.
My current playlist includes plying a trade as a 5 day old miner/trader in EVE with dreams of making large profits with a healthy dose of combat on the side. I am still semi-active in DAoC, with top level toons on Gareth and Bors. I still piddle lightly with BF1942 and really enjoy BF2 but am not the best at it. Enjoy Silent Hunter II for some slower paced action, but right now it's all EVE. Wife isn't interested in games so when I can find her a good show on TV I'll retreat to the game room - usually squeeze in a good 20-30 hours a week gaming from 8-9 Eastern Time US until I pass out asleep....
