Hi folks,

Just joined, read AUP and FAQ. Sounds like I may have found a home for myself

I get tired of the youngsters and their "l33tspeak" behavior, although I must say there are many very nice people in the games I play, also. Added: Sprry, forgot to add, I am 59 yrs old

I love RPGs especially. I first discovered them when I played Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation original. I still think that is the best overal game I have ever played.

A couple of years ago I discovered MMORPGs. I have beta tested several of them, most recently City of Villains. I have played Dark Age of Camelot, AC2 (which is being cancelled), Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest II, WoW, City of Heroes, and now City of Villains. Looking forward to some of the new ones to come out soon such as Vanguard, D&D Online, Spellborn, Lord of the Rings Online.

I have tried the shooters and have Halo2, Half Life 2, Far Cry, F.E.A.R, but not as big a fan of those.

I also play Dungeon Siege II, and other single player RPGs when a good one comes along.

Something to be said, though, about the social atmosphere found on the MMORPGs. I've made some good friends there, and hope to make some new friends here
