Greetings from San Diego
Hi TOG,
I'm a 42 year old gamer ... I was poking around the DDO site and saw some posts by some members. I'm a single guy with a house; I work in Customer Support for a company that makes video games; I have two fat dogs (cause I am always playing on the computer instead of walking them) and the three of us live alone. I am a total MMORPG slut and cannot WAIT for DDO. I'm just poking around and wondering if any of you folks would have an ex PnP D&D player turned computer MMORPG ho in your little club. Currently I'm only paying for EQ2 (but sort of bored of it; it's impossibly boring to solo) and have bounced back to my old standby, Anarchy Online, where I have a great guild of long time friends on RK2. Anyhow, I read the rules, and made an account ... Any of you guys & gals in Southern California? Cheers, D |

Hey there Danish.
I think you'll find quite a few TOGs with a sordid PnP AD&D past.  Plus, I believe there are quite a few TOGs in Southern California. Just to clear up, as your post isn't clear on this point - do you wish to become a TOG member? If so, we just need you to state that you have read and agree to the terms set out in our AUP and FAQ. Howdy Danish,
I'm in Escondido myself and playing with the TOG Eve Div. It's a different sort of MMO but very addicting as well. I was a PnP D&D player once upon a time but continuing careers made that very hard to continue and we played with enough inhouse changes that we pretty much kept to 1st edition before reluctantly moving into 2nd ed. stuff but 3+ never really caught on in the group. |
