TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello all,

This is my formal request for membership into TOG and the Barracks Forum.

I am 52 years old.

I have served in my (US) country's Navy for the past 27 years and expect to serve 10 years more before retiring unless I win the lotty (ROFL).

I started playing AD&D in 1979 when I first joined the Navy. I unfortunately don't get the time to play now though my children do enjoy playing when I can. Oh, I am married (23 years) and have 3 children (two sons (17/12) and one daughter (10))

I have played SWG since April but not sure if I will continue playing with all the changes currently proposed (I am a Creature Handler and they are doing away with it). I am on a wait and see mode. I also played Guild War for awhile but my guild stopped playing so I haven't played for quite some time. Also looking forward to playing DDO when it comes out since I didn't get selected for Beta testing.

I live in Juneau, Alaska so I am -10 TZ so it is difficult to get together with most people.

If anyone has other suggestion on enjoyable games, please let me know. Oh, I really am not good nor do I enjoy PVP games. My sons kick my butt too much on PS and Nintendo (LOL).

ROFL!! After 27 years, I have probably heard most of the seaman jokes but will always enjoy seeing if there are any I have missed.
