As with everyone here, I'm an avid gamer (primarly PC). I try to make time for gaming as it's not only a passion, it's also how I "hang out" with some friends overseas. My preferred genres are MMORPGs, RPGs, RTS, simulations, TBS, and to a small degree certain FPS games.
My longest and most intensively played MMO was WoW (maybe 7 years? I don't even remember anymore). It was a bit tough going in Cataclysm struggling to keep raid teams going while our server population dwindled. I'm greatly looking forward to the indiscriminate server jumping allowed in GW2 when we need to PUG people, and NO NEED TO SPAM FOR 3 HOURS FOR TANKS & HEALERS ZOMG.
I'm so excited about GW2 and am hoping to be part of big cooperative guild battles in WvW. This was actually how I discovered The Older Gamers--browsing gw2guilds.org on Yak's Bend and looking at the guilds listed. I checked out the guild description, and went to your website to read further. A mature, easygoing, and international (because I'm on timezone GMT+
is something I'd like to be a part of.
