Introducing the Nurple
Greetings TOG,
Firstly, I'll dispense with the legal statements: I'm a 34 year old gamer, born September 8, 1971. I have read both the Acceptable Use Policy (which is standard AUP fare) and the TOG FAQ. I concur, agree and I am happy with the contents of both. I've applied for membership primarily because I'm looking for a community of mature gamers. By mature, I'm not implying I'm so mature that I can't talk sh*t on occasion or let loose and have a little inner-child fun. However, I've never understood why one gamer would purposely seek to ruin another person's gaming experience - and it's something I strive to never do and I don't tollerate it in the people I game with. I'm 34, male, single and living in sin with my girlfriend of 3 years in Washington D.C. I'm a former Air Force officer, now separated and working for the DoD. My work can be stressful and I like nothing more than to come home and play a little UT'04, Doom3, BF2 or WoW. WoW is my focus lately (30 Warrior, 49 Priest, and 52 Mage), and is what originally led me to seek out a mature guild. I understand TOG is more than a guild, and I'm looking forward to joining the Blackrock server, and starting a new character there - unless I can get a transfer. I won't have a lot of time for gaming due to work and life. My East coast timezone will make grouping with you all on the West coast, and Australia difficult, but when I'm available I'll be LFG. Anyway, that's probably more then you all wanted to read. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible and making some net-friends. Cheers, ~ Nurple |

Welcome Nurple! Drop by the ut2k4 forum and make a post in the 'US Players' sticky. We are trying to gather all the ut2k4 US players (casual or otherwise) so the US/Canadian guys and gals can have as much fun as us AU/NZ folks
