Greetings!

I am interested in joining The Older Gamers guild in a General Gaming category, if you have one. I am currently playing a few games and don't want to be restricted to a single game-related section. If there isn't a general gaming section, I will be applying to the GW2 section since that is where I currently "live" online.

Intro: <drum roll and someone who doesn't play a bugle well just making noise>

Most of my online characters/forum names are Dolnor Numbwit or Noldor Numbwit. You can Google those for more insight into my online presence.

I've been gaming since 1983 with my Apple ][+ starting with Ultima I. My introduction into online gaming started when I was asked to help test the game Yserbius for The Sierra Network (before the InterTubes existed for the general public).

Since that time, I've tested over 45 games and it is a hobby for me. Ninety percent of the time it is for free but I've been given swag and/or invited to trade shows as a guest as a thank-you.

I've heard of and bumped into TOG members over the years in the many games I've tested/played. I've known of your presence but back then, TOG had almost exclusively Oceanic-based members and I live in San Diego, CA, USA. So I never applied. But now I see TOG is global and perhaps could include me in their ranks?

Due to my work schedule, my play times are 11pm - 4am PST (-7 GMT) when most of the USA are asleep. But for the TOG members, this is prime playing time! -)

I do belong to another online gaming guild, an offshoot of TOG, named Old Timers Guild. Having a dual membership is within their policies as long as I don't become an officer in either guilds and/or there are no conflicts-of-interest between the two guilds.

Currently I am mostly playing Guild Wars 2 and I have helped/talked/bowed to many TOG members over the last couple months though I doubt anyone would remember me.

I also play/subscribe to: The Secret World, LOTRO, SWTOR, City Of Steam, Family Guy Online, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, EQ & EQ2, and a couple I am testing which I can't reveal their names due to their NDAs.
