I'm a new BF2 Gamer

Hello everyone,

I've been playing BF2 for about 2 months. I am interested in join TOG so I could play with a bunch of people and have fun doing it.

I am 37 - born 1968.

I have read the AUP and FAQ.

As of right now the only game I play is BF2.

Some background on myself. I am a Lan and Desktop support person for Verizon. I am married and have 3 boys of my own plus 2 step sons. They keep me very busy and I need to time to relax. That is why I love playing BF2 when everyone is a sleep. My wife loves to watch me play she thinks it very cool.

Once you're a full member, head on over the the BF2 forums, read the stickies to get yourself set, and put a post up saying hello........we're a friendly bunch in there.

You are SO lucky.........each minute I spend shooting my fellow TOGgers in the head (I sometimes get lucky and hit the guys on the other team....... ) is the result of hard-earned wifey-points.........and I still get it in the neck for "wasting my time on that ****ing PC" !!!

As soon as an admin comes along you'll be able to see the Hot Spot forum. There are threads in there that will help you get started. We have a 8v8 scrim this thursday if you're interested!

Starting times vary but the 8v8 scrim starts at 9:30pm EST thursday Dec. 15th
While we're waiting for an admin, you may wish to download and install Team Speak which is our communication software.

Another handy prog that goes along with TS is Team Speak Overlay. It runs in the background and tells you who is talking so you don't have to go an recognize 20 new voices all at once. You just have to make sure that the "Use alternative DirectX" box is checked under Options/Debug or Punkbuster will kick you for multiple OpenGL errors.
