TOG - The Older Gamers

Good Evening All,

Just found y'all's web site, thanks to a friend of mine, and would like to check y'all out a bit more.

I've read both the Acceptable Use Policy and the TOG FAQ. I agree with both and am happy to see that this group is geared towards both Newbies and Experts alike!

I helped start, and was an Admin, for two different MoH:BT clans with two years experience. I'm getting tired of the hackers and would like to find another great game to play.

I have briefly played CoD, but not AA. However, I'm a fast learner and I love helping other newbies when I can.

I'm married (12 years this past Nov., 13 together.), three children, one grandchild (with a second on the way), 41 yo, been tinkerin' with computers since '91, love BBQ, Lynyrd Skynyrd & Helping Others, am disabled (back, knee & heart) and cain't stand Hackers!

Was born in FL, moved to N.H., and now live in VA (-5:00 GMT).

I spend a LOT of time everyday in forums at TMF (The Motley Fool) assisting others with computer/spyware problems, web site admin, disability related issues, and BBQ.

I have eight web sites total...five dealing with some of the same issues.

I like helping people...did I say that yet? <g>

I can only hope this is the beginning of a great friendship. I look forward to hearing from y'all!

Howdy Folks,

Thanks for the warm welcome!

A buddy of mine has also just joined. He too was an Admin in the same groups as I. He's a programmer and created all of the scripts for our server along with creating and setting up our web site. His Nick is Barstow.

Anywho, after reading through summa the game FAQs and figuring out how the games work, I hope to see y'all on the battlefield soon.
