Hello, and well met!
Hi folks,
I read through the terms and the FAQ. I agree. I passed my 25th birthday over ten years ago, and have family commitments. I am in the Mountain time zone, and usually can sneak down to game after 9pm local. Sometimes before, if I get excused for excessive behavior (either good or bad!) What do I play? A whole lot of Rome: Total War, (SPQR mod, right now) but not much of that game online. I would like to try R:TW online, all the same. Also have an EVE: Online account, which right now I don't play a lot, but I am skilling up 24x7. I have a destroyer, and am set for Large Projectile and ?Cruise? Missles. Whatever the third missle size is. My RL bro plays this game as well, and is botting my character around for protection sometimes when I can't play. I played EQ for a few years (65 Shm on Lanys - pre GoD), played WoW for half a year and want to restart WoW some days. My misspent youth: Pitfall, RiverRaid, Telengard, Ultima IV, XWing, The Lost Admiral, Doom, Master of Orion, MechWarrior 2, Master of Magic, Xcom: UFO Defense. My misspent more recent years: Diablo, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and 4, Jagged Alliance 2, EQ, Ghost Recon, Falcon 4, Rome: Total War, WoW. I know I have missed some games that were important, but that is a good snapshot of my tastes. I look forward to some dialog, and possibly finding a few more people to mine Hedbergite with, or throw pila at, or dangle other participles at in other exciting ways. I am also watching BF2, which is how I got here. One of your compatriots - Atrayo - stopped by to thank some of the guys playing and running a BF2 server at GhostSoldiers. I hang out there a bit, but right now am not into many games that they are. So I have been looking for a larger group of gamers to try to find more people who like a few of the games I enjoy. Hey dere, Banrai. Welcome to the TOGnicity. You should get bonked on the head soon by the TOG stick (TM) and will officially be a member. Good to have you on board and I'm sure you can find lots of folks playing games you are into. I'm a BF2er myself and our ranks are growing quickly. Please swing by the BF2 areas and say "Hi" when you get a chance. The Lounge is quite popular, too. See you 'round.
