Hi everyone,
I'm 33 years old, recently started playing planetside 2, and have two TOG members in my department at work (IT, go figure).
The first thing I played was Pong (it was my parents). When I was around 8-10 we had a Texas Instruments computer that came with a book where you had to code your own games, which was a hoot. Soon after we had an early model PC (some kind of low x86) and I played stuff like centipede and asteroids. In 5th grade I got a nintendo and that was totally rad(

).
When I was a senior and built a real PC that was when things really changed. I played stuff like Duke Nukem, Diablo, and GTA, but what really got me was Quake. I played quake like ALL the time.. joined a QWTF clan, etc, my social life was over for a few years. Overlapping the Quake years, I played EQ for a while but really preferred Asheron's Call. I also managed to play a lot of Counter Strike (great game). When Quake went the way of the dinosaur though, my hardcore gaming years came to an end. I have just never found a game I liked as much as Quake (especially QWTF).
I played some WoW with friends on and off, but gravitated more towards thoughts of my career and relationships. I eventually got married, and now I have a 3 month old baby

, so as I'm sure many of you know, I do not play much any more. When I get permission to play some planetside 2, its been pretty fun so far
