Hi there!

My name is Lars, and as you probably guessed already, I'd like to apply for TOG membership. I'm 32 years young and came here after getting into Guild Wars 2. I live in Norway and currently work accounting, but I am actually still quite easy to get on with.

I've been a gamer for almost as long as I can remember, starting with my first encounter with a Commodore Vic 20. I've also been a big enthusiast of online play in all forms ever since the smart heads found out you could call someone up on dialup and play Doom with them. Since then I've played a lot of games, of all genres, on and offline. From the online games I have been more involved in I'll quickly name a few: Quake 1 (QuakeWorld Team Fortress), Diablo 1+2, Quake 3 Arena (Urban Terror, Quake 3 Fortress, Rocket Arena) Dark Age of Camelot, World of Warcraft, Team Fortress 2, Street Fighter 4 (PS3+PC), Diablo 3, and now sinking my teeth into Guild Wars 2.

I already have very good experiences with fellow more or less grown up gamers from World of Warcraft EU where I was for years a member of The Orphans Grim, originally a TOG branch that went its own ways to allow applications down to ages 18+. My time there was easily the best few years of online cameraderie with great people to hang around with, so now that I am once again looking to get involved with a community of gamers, this time on Guild Wars 2 (and who knows where else?) it feels very natural to apply here.

That all said, I'm hoping to make a lot of new friends here, please ask away if there are any questions at all regarding my application!
