Warm greetings from India.

I've been a gamer since the age of 18, and my first PC with a Riva GPU. I remember the fits my dad would have when I'd shirk college study to game, or secretly get up in the wee hours to play and sport dark circles later.

It's been more than 14 years, and my love for gaming hasn't diminished one bit. A hectic career in marketing, amateur photography and a full time girlfriend hasn't hampered me any.

My first game was Quake II, which I must have played at least 10 times over. Games weren't available in India at the time, and hailing from a small town, it was extremely difficult to get my hands on games. Later on, I played Diablo II, and finally, a few years later in 2001, we got a small company that started distributing games in India. This might make India sound archaic, but I got my first Internet connection in 2001, and since then Max Payne, RCTW, and of course, my first true love Neverwinter Nights.

I had never touched online MMOs or any multiplayer games, except Warcraft 3 and Quake 3, which we used to play in my previous office (I worked as editor of a technology magazine). Tried World Of Tanks back in November last year and got hooked to it. I play at least 30 min daily (which shows how retarded I can be), but this weekend, I just had a marathon 40 games a day. Want to join TOG2R, but as I get better will eventually move on to the more competitive TOG1R.

In India, it's kinda uncool upon if you're over 21 and game, you're usually considered "kiddish" or weird This is just what I was looking for!
