TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello everyone!

I saw this community linked from womengamers.com. Reading your FAQ I felt like it was written for me, so I had to register right away!

I am female, 30, and live with my fiance and two sweet, little dogs in the Atlanta area. I work as a computer technician, and while I can be a professional adult, I prefer not to be outside of work

I enjoy the company of easy-going adults who have a good sense of humor and don't take things too seriously.

My first video game was one of those big, black/silver pong boxes that connected to the tv and only had a dial as a controller - I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about

My true love was the Commodore 64 though, the ugly brown breadbox model, and I spent many, many hours of my childhood in front of it. I have the Gamebase 64 collection on my pc as well.

Right now I mostly play Toontown Online, which is probably not too common around here. However, I have played City of Heroes for a few months and Guild Wars for a few hours. My fiance and I have been sharing a pc, therefore my play time has been pretty limited, but I'm building a 2nd pc this week, so it's the perfect time to start playing more games. I've got WoW and City of Villains sitting on the shelf, and plan on playing them in the near future.

I'd love to be part of this community to meet like-minded people. I am definitely more into PvE than PvP and enjoy teaming up for the company, not the competition. My play times are usually weekends and randomly during the week, depending on my work schedule, Eastern time. I have read the FAQ and the AUP, and I concur, agree and am happy with the contents of both
