application for Neverwinter
im Ralf, 36 years old, almost 37. I am a STO Lifetimer and so i had the chance to get into NW CBT.
My first pen & paper was with 11 "Das schwarze Auge" and after some years follows AD&D 2nd Edition for a long time. Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, Dark Sun, Greyhawk, i am still having the books of both. I got in contact with middleearth and - i dont remember the name - that cyber punk / end nation setting where multicorp enterprises rule the earth.
My pc career startet with an 486dx2, i tried with turbopascal 7 to write a database for my greyhawk npcs, well that was really hard and i never finished it, cause i got lost with my 2nd pc, a cyrix p100+ and "shadow over riva" plus "aquanox".
Then followed years of mechwarrior 2 - 4 plus multiplayer liga.
My first MMO was for hard 2 years of ups and downs "Ryzom". After we realised this game will never be really finished we took a short view into EvE, EQ2 and decided WoW Classic would fit our taste as former gaming club.
Now the has fade, most of that friends play other games, i made a rough journey, some games where, LOTRO, Warhammer, EvE, SWTOR, AoC, RIFT just to tell those i played a little bit more. I guess its about 4 years due to WoW, and also 4 years to Lotro. The rest where quite shorter,
i am socializer. If i dont find my place the taste of a game will fade. The taste is due to gamedesign and my comrades.
Rift was my first experience with a 30+ y/o guild, and i will never miss that again.
I am playing to relax, i can relax with a good game, and there is it for.
I got a wife, hey yeah, i also got reallife, and its sea is reallyunsteady to me. My mom got cancer, i have to change my job, well its nothing i cant manage, but beside gaming i know whats important.
Hopefully there will come the time to play more often again, its now somewhat about 10 hours a week mostly 5. my wife is also interested in neverwinter.
i found TOG with the guild searching tool, and i am willing to give it a try.
As i am german i only fear the speech border, but just speak slowly and i may understand as former sergeant of the german army i am used to loud speaking, but normally i do understand with normal loudness, also i prefer precise command. i would say, you know what you asked me, after you heard my reply, and also, a lack of training is not lack of the trainee, but some lack of the trainer. god, i sound like my grandpa.
Enough told, i will end this with a quotation of my fav. cabaret artist "the rheinländer can keep silent, if he is alone". so be warned!
