Hi.
I’m soon 41 years old (born May 1st 1965), married and have two kids. I live in Stockholm, Sweden but within the next 6 to 12 months we will (hopefully) move the
Gotland which is an island just out of the east coast.
Currently I’m only interested in playing WoW and have done so from the release. However, at the moment my account is frozen and has been since mid November but if I find the right guild I’ll de-freeze it and start playing again. I’m playing the Dungeons & Dragons Online beta at the moment and even if it is a superb game I don’t see myself playing that once it is released. The only focus on DDO is to group for the dungeons which can take from 1 hour to complete but the farther you advance the deeper the dungeons get – and the longer it’ll take to complete the quests. What I miss and what you can do in WoW is just to log in for 20 min before dinner, check the action house, maybe to some crafting and some grinding and then log off. With two kids in the house and lots of other hobbies besides gaming I tend to do that. Of course I’m also game for the 5+ hours instance sessions that WoW offers, but currently that is
all DDO offers so I don’t think that will be my kind of game. Maybe if they’ll implement crafting and such later.
I might also be interested in playing Battlefield 2 alter on, but for now WoW is the thing.
My previous and longest gaming experiences has been with Ghost Recon (clans, ladders and all that), Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights and the Thief series. I prefer the tactical gameplay but in the form of FPS or RPS, never been much for the strategy games like Age of Empires and the like.
Oh, and yes I have read the FAQ and AUP.
