TOG - The Older Gamers

I figured since I have to introduce myself, I better to a thorough job!

I have been doing table top games since the 80’s (Pen and Paper sort…D&D…I was that girl you saw sitting with the guys at the table) , and computer gaming since the Commodore 64. (Well, I did have an Atari system as a teen…but, that just barely counts!)

Together my husband and I ran a BBS in the 90’s called The Enchanted Grove. This was what a friend of mine termed “Interactive Fiction” In short, we ran a text driven RPG with rules of our own. I am old enough to remember Q-Link. (or Q-Stink as my friends and I later termed it)

I am a mom to two daughters, one is almost in College

*cringe* the other entering High School. Despite this, I don’t feel old yet.

PC games and MMORPGs, are what I enjoy. I am currently playing Word of Warcraft, mainly on the Silvermoon Server. I help run a guild called “The Dark Lager Knights” So, if you are ever on Silvermoon, look us up… My main’s tag is Oubliette.

Sim Games, builders and RPGs are my meat and potatoes for entertainment. You can keep anything that is considered platform.

I am a big Sci-Fi and Fantasy fan (in that order)

My profession is Graphic Design (all aspects, from print to Web Dev)

When not in front of a PC (which is most of the time) I tease my two dogs, a Corgi and a Yellow Lab, do artwork, and play bass. I also have a rose garden when the weather permits. (cold here in NE USA right now!)

Hoping to meet a few folks that are as nutty as I am, but old enough to know better!

You're nearly there, need to check out the AUP and FAQs.

Just a couple of minor formalities as mentioned above, membership follows fairly quickly thereafter.

There are a good few gaming mothers here in TOG as well.

Ah... I checked out the FAQ (which I did before logging in) and tried to find the AUP. I finally found a link to it IN the FAQ, but that went nowhere...perhaps its a gaff in the new forum system?

Help?
