Hello Fellow Gamers!
Hi. My name is DeathsWelcome, DW for short. I saw Lichbane's post on the DDO forum so thought I would look at your website and was happy to know that the min age req. is around 25, so no kids. Means that most of the people on here know what I am talking about. I have been active in Planetside for several years, as well as Battlefield2, EQ2, and now DDO. DDO is a "Group" based game, and seeing that many of you are defintely interested in playing DDO I was happy to give my name to you to hopefyully be accepted into your group of older and elite players. Most of us were around the early ages of DnD so we know what the game has developed into and look forward to furthering the advancement with all of you that will be playing. I look forward to the release. A little bit about me, I am 34 years old, 6'4" tall. I am a retired Professional Volleyball player, as well as a current Dealer at a casino here in the Chicagoland area. My gaming experience is quite extent, dating back to the original Zork series as well as the Original Ultima series which started on the comodore 64/128 I believe. Oh the good old days. Technology has definitely changed hasn't it. I am also affiliated with the Raging Primates( if you play Planetside I am sure you will know who they are). A good group much like yours, extent in gaming in various areas. DDO has gotten various revues and viewed upon by many skeptics. Will be harder to get a good group of people to join in this "Group Based" game. You have a few from what I can tell that are very much interested in the game and I wanted to be a part of that if possible. I look forward to meeting and chatting with you all in game.
