TOG - The Older Gamers

Greetings Gamers,
I was amazed, and pleased to find this site. I have been an avid gamer since the late 70's, and was beggining to believe that my favorite pasttime was dying out. I get together regularly to play Cosmic Encounters with some long-time friends, and am starting to explore MMORPG's (City of Heroes, and Dungeons and Dragons Online). I would love to have more time for gaming, but being a husband and father takes quite a bit of my time. Fortunately, my wife enjoys casual gaming, and isn't too critical of my time spent indulging my fantasies. I am really interested in the opinions of gamers in my age group, and am looking forward to getting some good advice with shadings for my age-range.

First of all, you are never too old to play games!!! Don't anyone ever tell you any different!

Just as a minor formality, need for you to peruse TOG's FAQ and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Once you have done that, then please declare accordingly and that you agree to them.

A TOG Admin will then swing by to formalise your membership. This will allow you access to the internal TOG Forums. Please head on over to the MMO/RPG division. Please also participate in our discussions, the more the merrier.

The Lounge Room is the Central HUB of TOG Land.

Welcome to TOG RockyMtnManiac. Just have to say publicly that you agree with AUP and FAQ's and you've done what you need to do. A big burly Admin person will storm this thread and will belt ya with a bit TOG stick to initiate you into the family.
