Want to become a TOG member: my introduction
Hi
Im new here, didnt know of this site until i read a thread on the DDO forum. A MMORPG im considering atm. About my personalia i can list the following: Im from Norway. I live near the second largest city there called Bergen, which is located on the west coast. Im 27 yeears old, have a wife and a kid who is 13 months old. Work as a Construction Engineer/IT-Manager, at a construction company. Ive been a MMORPG gamer since feb 2004 when i entered SWG. Love Star Wars, but as many others im not happy with the latest changes and im not online as much as i used to(which makes my wife happy lol  ). Considering alternatives, ive been looking at DDO, LOTRO, and my favourite Warhammer Online(which got canned first but is in development again by Mythic). Have played some PnP rpg, especially Warhammer which i have enjoyed very much. Doesnt play any longer due to the fact that the gaming group split up and moved to various locations after our studies ended. Would love to play some PnP again, but i dont see it happening in the near future  As for other games, i like playing rpg's(Baldurs Gate, KOTOR, NWN..and so on), action, and some strategy. I play occasionally FPS, but im not so interested in those games anymore(maybe due to im growing up? lol). Have been playing games since the mid 80s, the C64 times (ah the good old days ) and while im on the subject i can list my computer history:C64: 1985-1989 C128: 1989-1991 Amiga 500: 1991 - 1994 PC 486 DX2 66 MHz 1994 - 1996 Pentium 200Mhz MMX 1996 - 1999 Pentium II 500MHz 1999 - 2001 AMD XP 2000+ 2001 - 2004(was destroyed by lightning) AMD xp 2500+ 2004 - 2006( Borrowed by my mother lol) AMD XP 3700+ 2006 - forever(my wife surely hopes so lol) So you can see ive been into computers and games since my childhood Well ill leave it at that for now so the post doesnt get too long. I can state that im above 25 years of age, that i have read the FAQ and the AUP, and that i agree with both. Hope to become a TOG member soon Thank you for reading. |
