Why will no one stand up for me?
I was thrown out of Thorns of Grey by Dero for absolutely no reason. There is no rule in TOG/WoW that says you can't have an alliance toon in another guild if you have a Horde toon in Grey.
My character Geronimoo has been in Thorns of Grey for about ten months, since he was level 1.
I have never had a problem with anyone in the Guild.
My alliance toon left the TOG alliance guild in December, along with about eighty other people.
The separation was painful, with many accusations made on both sides.
Aside from a couple of posts immediately after the split correcting one of the charges against a member of our group (it was a complete lie, actually), I have made no disruptive or negative posts on the TOG boards, during a time when many others have.
I thought TOG was supposed to be the proverbial "Big Umbrella". I thought it was supposed to welcome everyone.
I also thought TOG was run by rules.
It's incredibly disappointing to me that NO ONE in my guild, NO ONE in Thorns of Grey, will stand up for me. I thought guild membership was supposed to mean something.
Dero, perhaps you and I are never destined to be friends. So what. Is that REALLY your criteria for who should be allowed to be in TOG? What are you afraid of? Reinstate my cow and let me continue to have fun with my guildies.
For those of you who read this who don't play WoW, just imagine how you would feel if a TOG officer began, in a capricious and spiteful manner, to deguild players based on a personal vendetta. How would you like it? And, more importantly, how would you like it if no one in the guild had the balls to stand up for you?
