Hi all,

I have read and agree to abide by the AUP and the FAQ...

For all those who care... satanx is my worse half... although he'll tend to disagree

I have spent a lot of time previously playing D2, both hc and sc. Also FF8(

), the original Prince of Persia, I still enjoy the "Dr Brain" series, Munch's Oddysee on the xbox, and, of course, UT (both the original, and 2k4). I am also looking forward to the release of 2k7.... as it is around my birthday

My parents ran a computer shop from when i was 8 till i was 11, it all started there...

... and will continue when my darling dear actually gets MY computer up and running...

I will look forward to being able to give mistermum some of his own medicine back...

... if I can of course...

I'm not over 25, but am satanx's partner... Cailith said I could join as my partner was a member... otherwise i'd have to wait a few more years...

And for future reference, yes... I am a New Zealander (insert favourite joke here - but I warn you... I have a few of my own!

Hi there, purplex. We won't hold your affiliation to Our Man in Red against you. However I may have to call BS on your statement of playing the original Prince of Persia since it was before your time. It was an old side scroller that was quite frustrating but fun and ahead of it's time. Anywho, welcome to TOG and be sure to help us own your flak monkey from time to time.

I'm sorry to tell you this... but I still have the box, and manual, and the original 3 & 1/2 disks... in front of me right now even... The copyright is 1989, 1990 Jordan Mechner... in 1989 I was 5... (I'm only 21 now... 22 in March) I do remember playing it... cause I still do... and PoP2... although I can't find the box for that at the moment...

Anyway... JJ agrees with me...

And as for owning the flak monkey... i'm not good enough to own him yet... but I *can* tell you where he's camping over TS...

Just playing, JJ. I know some folks might have encountered it in their travels but it wasn't quite in the time frame for those under 25. That and all the games she listed are a good bit newer than the first PoP. Apparently she's well versed in it though. Good show. I played that one and the remake. Haven't tried the newest one as I've gotten away from consoles.

We'll take any info for splatting fellow TOGgers, dear. Carry on.

I've spent a fair amount of time around computers... I've played other games too... like the original Oddysee - Abe... and Abes Exoddus... the only reason i got the other arf the xbox for his b/day was so that i could get munches oddysee (well done microsoft... take a perfectly playable platform game for the computer, buy the rights to it, butcher it into yet another 3D platform game, and make it exclusively for their new console coming out... so people like me have to buy one... [but i do prattle on])...
