Can I play in your sandpit?
Hi all.
My name's Monika and I'm a 40 year old from Melbourne, Australia. Up until a few years ago I worked as an IT developer, but have since retired to focus on other pursuits. They include gaming, writing, and trying to weasle epic items out of my teenage daughter. I'll pretty much play anything, but I prefer RPGs and strategy to outright combat. I'm currently playing Call of Cthulhu, KOTOR II and EQII. I used to play WoW (I have a 60 rogue on Blackhand) but after a year I figured it was time for a change so I recently switched to EQ2. I'd eventually like to try Eve Online and DDO (if it's any good), but I think the sleep deprivation will kill me ... I've read the FAQ and AUP and am eager to join a more mature gaming community. It's bad enough being a girl gamer; if you're a *mum* as well you really freak people out!
