Disapponted again and it just gets worse

19.30 tonight I started playing in the TOG server and have just finished at 21.00 as I've had enough.
I asked close to 15 times for the TOG TS settings, I did ask TOG Fiona about the 14th time, she did reply, (she hadn't been in the server long), she replied she didn't know, the 15th time I once again directed the question to TOG wardog, he gave them to me, but either I wrote it down wrong or he mis-typed.

I must admit I was testing team members seeing if people had seen my other thread from last night.

Other questions I asked in the server:
Q. Are TOG looking for members
No Reply
Q. Asked for website address
Wombat2 replied with the correct address
Q. Asked how many TOG members play COD2
A. From a NON TOG member I was told 50

And of course the 15 times I asked for the TOG TS settings.

Who was in your server, while I was asking about the TS settings.

Please remember even though I didn't get connected to your TS, Fiona and Wardog had the courtesy to reply which I appreciated them trying to help, but after 90 mins of asking it gets frustrating.

TS server settings can not be given out on a public server. All server settings are in Stickys in the relevent forums.

Mate you sort of missed the point, lets start with you last sentence.
I can understand you dont give out the settings in a server but,
A) Why didn't someone say that
B) Why did Wardog attempt to give them too me.

Yea good point mate it's frustrating especially 2 nights in a row.

I would like to get people to know me and I would like to get to know people in your team before I join, getting to know members in your team is very bloody difficult ROFL, to say the least.

Its a bit hard to get to know some one through a type/chat interface. I used to play COD and admit that I used to get engrosed in the game and would forget about chat.

Its is prolly better for you to join TOG and get to know people that way.
I will be 199 before I leave TOG

I don't understand why you were testing those on the server with your questions when you knew the answer.

Hey again Toecutter! I'm disappointed that you were disappointed again. Obviously we old farts are having an issue with typing whilst in game, whether it's 'coz we're too old to do more than one thing at a time, vision impaired to the point where we can't see it or too pissed to keep up with ya, I don't know! However, here are the details of our recently created Public TS server: ts1.netwars.com.au:8767 (DOH!) . Next time yer on our server, if you'll give us another run that is, please advise someone that yer in there if you like and I'm guessing they'll join ya gladly and say hi, Answer all yer questions & maybe have a laugh. I have read both of your threads. I'm terribly sorry to read that you've had difficulties in obtaining information about our unique community. Now that you're here, why don't you have a read of the FAQ/AUP and see if TOG is right for you?

This time, the information is right under your nose; spelled out in plain black and white.

If your goal is to join TOG, then you have all the information available to you on the homepage. (I assume you are still interested by your hanging around our main pub forum )

If not, then I wish you the best of luck in your search for kindred spirits.

buddy if your over 25 joining the tog's it will i have no doubt be the best thing you have ever done in you gaming life time, its a great community to find and meet other like minded gamers

I am a newish TOG member myself Toecutter, and I have to say, your is the first negative experience I have seen any info about when trying to join. So far, I have had nothing but gaming goodness whenever or wherever TOG has been involved.

I sincerely hope this gets cleared up for you, as you would be missing out on a great group of comrades.

Naturally, there will be initiation rights and sacrifices, chickens mostly, but otherwise it's a straightforward process.

Heck, you can look forward to Tea Trolley races in the TOG dining room after 7pm on every second Friday, then each Wednesday is strip bingo at afternoon tea and Matron has a special golden oldie movie for Saturday night.

Seriously, TOG is not only a sanctuary from the daily rigors of pre-teen Internet but a whole lotta fun too.
