I just might be an "older" gamer

First the legalese: I have read and agree with the FAQ and AUP (no quizzes, please). I am, in fact, over the age of 25.

I am the NappyOne. Born in 1954, I classify myself as a “grognard” as coined by John Young of SPI. I started playing AH games in 1964.

Before 2000, I considered myself a grand-scale board gamer. Games like The Third Reich, Squad Leader and even 1914 were my kind of game. That is, of course, when I was not involved with miniatures. Starting in 1972, I did dabble with PnP FRP on and off with an odd computer game thrown in on the side. In 2000 I was introduced to EQ and never looked back.

I have come to this site as a result of my EQ2 guild falling apart. In searching for a new guild I saw TOG and decided to look into this organization. I am on the Najena server.

Other than that I am looking forward to playing Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

I am in the US CST, play almost every evening from 7 to 10, most mornings and lunches for a while, and 8-14 hours on weekend days.

Ok, question 1:

When playing online first person shooters and you accidently kill a team mate do you:

a: Apologise prefusely and swear it will never happen again.
b: Laugh so hard, that you lose control over your tank and kill 3 more team members.
c: Aim better next time and do it on purpose?

Question 2:

When meeting people at a party and they find out you play games, do you:

a: tell them that it was passing interest and quickly change the topic.
b: Go into a deep and persisting monologue about how dynamics of online role-playing games actually help to develop interpersonal skills. When they try and walk away, follow them without relenting even when they go to the bathroom.
c: Point happily at your embroided TOG cap sitting proudly on your head, give them a stamp on their hand with the TOG website and then hug them merrily.

Question 3:

When coming across useless posts like this one, do you:

a: read it all with interest, before making an intelligent reply.
b: scan quickly, and then posting something completely off topic
c: terribly flame the idiot who posted it as he was half asleep and too far from the beer fridge to be bothered getting up.

There, if you can correctly as all 3 questions, I am sure an admin TOGger will come along and sign you up.
