TOG - The Older Gamers

Firstly to get through the official part:

Yes I am over 25 years of age.

I have read and agreed to the AUP and I have had a quiz at the FAQ

Now more about me......

Currently residing in Rockhampton - Central QLD I an engaged to be married, own a house (well the bank owns most of it) 2 cars but as yet no dog. I am employed by QR as a Network Services Technician (also known as a telephone tech) and I am only a year away from long service leave. YAY!

Enjoy gaming, playing cricket and the occasional wetting or a line. Computers have been a hobby for me ever since dad brought home the Osborne 486sx33 and I fired up such games as Wolf3D and Commanche: Maximum Overkill. Have been a big fan of RPGs, Flight Sims, RTS, FPS and space sims.

I am part of the CQGL Admin team which holds monthly LANs for our local area but have had people from townsville to emerald to brisbane attend. AUS who is a member of TOG showed me the path to this nice looking place I hope to become a member of. Feel free to go to cqgl.qgl.org to have a gander.

Currently not playing a great deal of games due to renovating of the house but I occasionally get a game of BF2 and EVE online going to release the pressure. But once they have been finished and cricket season is over I am definately going to be gaming more online.

So put me down for membership and you will either see me online playing BF2 or EVE.

Looks as though you've ticked all the right boxes, now just sit tight. The Admins will be doing their rounds sometime soon with the Mighty TOG stick. Once you've been thumped with said stick, you'll have access to the members forums.
