Hi guys & and gals
If you will have me I think that TOG might be just what I have been looking for in a gaming community. I have been palying BF2 and have come across a few of your members (spectre8 comes to mind). I have found them to be friendly, competitive and above all fun to play with.

In a nutshell:
I am 36 yo
married with 2 boys aged 3 months and 3 years
work as a manager in the car industry (specialising in fixed ops and aftersales)
first love (after my family) is 1.car racing, especially drags and 2. my gaming and 2. mountain biking (couldnt bring myself to put it at #3)
I live in Melbourne

My gaming career started in earnst with Wolf 3d then the whole line of first person shooters (mainly the id titles, John Carmack is a genius) then UT. I *love* UT2K4, surely one of the finest game engines ever (could teach the boys at Dice a thing or 2........I diverge). I then started with BF1942 (bit clunky but compelling gameplay and nicely balanced) and moved on to DC and now BF2 (even more clunky but strangely compelling as well).

I am no uber gamer, I play nearly every night and can hold my own but I am never going to break any records and like many I dont get as much game time as I might like. As a dad and family man I cant commit too heavily and I am hoping that the powers that be here at TOG will understand that when organising scrims and practice sessions. On the other hand if I have plenty of notice I can usually swing it for some time off, especially if its after bed time (the boys not mine).

Anyways, sorry for going on. I have read the FAQ's and the AUP, frankly they are part of the reason I would like in.

Would love to be part of TOG.

Thanks for the warm welcome, tis nice.

Yeah, looking forward to meeting you all in game, just setting myself up with TS (havent used it for while) and Xfire. I have also decided to create a new player account for my TOG exploits (TOG|Case) which means that I will have to start as a noob and lose my unlocks and 140 odd hours of play but it will be a fresh start so..... meh, might be fun to start fron scratch.
Keep an eye out for me, I am normally on the node servers every night.
