Default Hi from Too old for this

Hi all,

I struggle to write this with a squirming 4 week old baby in my arms - that and the fact that I was born in the summer of 69 should well qualify my membership to TOG!

Read the AUP and FAQ and they seem very reasonable.

Mum's back now so I can write a bit about myself:-

I live in Sydney and am currently on 6 months leave to coincide with my first born from a senior management position in a Telecoms vendor. You can probably guess that I am married with a new baby.

Started gaming with the Commodore VIC-20 back in '83 and prefer FPS'ers having played the original Castle Wolfenstein and then graduated onto Doom, Quake, Unreal and Half-Life.

In terms of online multiplayer - never really been into it until I started playing Call Of Duty II online a few weeks ago having finished the single player missions. Now I love it as I now realise you need to develop new skills compared with single player.

As such, this the first online gaming community I have joined and can't see myself going anywhere else at this stage.

Haven't played any RTS games and have never owned a console.

Apart from gaming, my other passions are golf (managing to get out a couple of times a week), guitar and cooking.

Cheers,

Michael
