TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello members of TOG,

I'm new to this forum and guess I need to introduce myself to become a member of TOG.

I use to play alot of the older Atari games and have dropped a lot of quarters in the old first generation arcade games when they first came out.

Played some of the DOS version Doom when it first came out and have still got the 7 or so floppy installation discs around somewhere.

Also have played Unreal, Tomb Raider and some of the Tom Clancy games but didn't really do too much on-line until recently that my son got me to download the trial version of BF1942. Kid's these days?

Next thing you know, I'm out upgrading my computer along with graphics cards so I can play these high tech games without the screen stutter.

Games I'm currently playing are Call of Duty:UO, Call of Duty 2, BF1942, and Age of Empires.

I just turned 50 last year and live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The gaming time is mostly in the winter months and during the summer months less time spent gaming, more time spent doing yard work and outdoor maintenance around the house.
When I do get some free time during the summer, you'll probably find me touring around the country side on my motorcycle.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

G'day. You're nearly there, just need you to have a read through this Sticky and confirm the bits about AUP and FAQ.

If you can do that, post back here mentioning as much and an Admin will take it from there.
