Greetings from a new applicant
Hello Everybody,
When I was a young man there were no electronic games. Even the pen & pencil Role Playing games were a thing of a distant future. - And PC's! - Well, I had qualified for membership of this site long before they hit our shores.
All that is history, so suffice it to say: Down the most crooked paths of Fate, I have now ended up an avid PC-gamer.
First it was Civ II and from there things just never seemed to stop. A tour through Role Playing games - I just can't bring myself to remove Baldurs Gate I and II from my harddisk - to FPS was an unexpected revelation with Deus Ex at the top. Always singleplayer, though. My prejudice dictated me that I would be hopeless in a multiplayer community.
Along came the European release of World of Warcraft and - I don't really know why - all of a sudden, I decided to enter the Beta testing. Never have I had my prejudice slammed so hard in my face! The amount of patient helpfulness I met was breathtaking. I've played it ever since - admittantly soloing a lot, but always enjoying a good party, when it comes along.
A week ago I then started out in EVE-online, which is the reason, I'm introducing myself on here now. I made a Google search on "EVE-online Corporation" and here I am.
I live in Denmark, where I was born more then half a century ago. By profession I'm a freelance actor, which means that there are times, where I have no time to play computer games at all and others, where I have all the time in the world.
Finally let me say, I've read the FAQ and the Terms of Use and aggree with them.
