TOG - The Older Gamers

I really don't know how to start this post, except to say that I read the required docs with great interest and agree with them totally.

I have just worked out this Forum thing with the help of an email from "Father".

I live in rural Queensland and have only recently had broadband made available to the area. I have played FPS games for a couple of years (single player) and thought I was getting pretty good - HA HA!!! Obviously a game AI is no match for a human one.

I really enjoy MOHAA, COD and DOD:Source but I'm afraid I may be considered
"Cannon Fodder".

I love them online anyway!! Online gaming sure beats TV!!

I am definately over 25, as I turn 60 in June this year (I can't really believe it!!)

Well that's basically it, except it's great to find that there are mature people who share my passion for Games.

I look forward to making friends here and, of course, getting better at these Games.

Thanks for the welcome I really am suprised !! I didn't expect such a response.

I'm honing my mayhem skills so watch out!!

Welcome to TOG! One thing I love about this place is that I am not the oldest gamer in the room (and from what I understand, neither are you)!!

An Admin should be along to TOGgle you before you know it.

BTW, Cannon Fodder, is a much under rated role you know. Without Cannon Fodder, well, we would be next! <wink>
