Default New Member: DDO and more

Greetings all. I've been playing online games long enough I can't recall why I first started using the handle Turk, but it stuck with me through UO, DAoC, AO, Hz, CoH, WoW, and now DDO. I've just recently retired from WoW (I think ) and continue to dabble in Battlefields, Civ, and some computerize board games (like Settlers of Catan).

I have resided in Michigan, USA most of my beyond-age-25 years. I've read the FAQ and AUP.

I've been playing DDO since "head start" have been looking for a good guild to help enhance my enjoyment of the game. I play almost entirely in the 10pm-2am Eastern USA time. I'm impressed by TOG overall and would like to see what your DDO group is like, if we're online at the same time, etc.. It's likely that joining TOG will also inspire me to join in some of the other reindeer games, particularly BF2, as long as nearsighted snipers are welcomed.

In DDO I can be primarly found at the helm of Turkoyze (3ranger/1bard), Turkru (2 cleric), and a couple of other Turks -I'm still trying to find my niche.

I look forward to a response to my application!

Nice to meet you, Turk

One of those awfully nice Admin types will be along shortly to let you loose in the land of TOG

Although I play on the EU sever, there is a lot of activity both sides of the pond on DDO right now - happy hunting

Welcome to TOG Turk!

Nice first post! There's alot of us who game hop for one reason or another. If / when you get tired of DDO, you should check out RF-Online! It's alot like L2, DAoC, and AO in play style but is totally skill based.

When you're made an offical member, check out the forum, and check out the lounge area to just hang out and meet other TOG members!

Welcome to TOG! ..one of the great things about TOG is that no matter what game you play, or which games you bounce on, there's usually a TOG presence you can play with. I can't count the times I've hopped into a game to see a familiar face I've played other games with in the past or talked to in the Lounge. See you in some game some time some day... or better yet in the forums!
