TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi everyone!

My name is Krystalle, I'm 33, am Mom in a family of gamers, and I'm hopelessly addicted to MMORPG's.

My addiction started in 1999-2000 with the original EQ, where I played on Fennin Ro off and on for about 4 years. Unfortunately, my original group outlevelled me quickly as RL > Game, so I got left behind and couldn't find a good guild to take my poor Druid in.

Since then I've gone on to play (and beta) many other games.

I currently play WoW as my main MMO, where I have a L60 Troll Mage, L60 Tauren Druid, a L52 Troll Rogue (climbing fast!) and a L42 Undead Warlock on US Lothar. While I am not looking for a guild in WoW (I am an officer in mine, thus the .sig graphic) I would be more than happy to group with any TOG players who happen to be on Lothar's Horde side!

I also have the full Station Pass subscription, which I keep for EQ, EQII, MxO and SWG. (although I'll admit I almost never play the latter two, but with a fun group, why not!) I just recently cancelled my subscription to EVE, primarily because my WoW friends who asked me to join couldn't get me a spot in their corporations, and frankly, that game just isn't fun to me without someone to at least talk to every once in a while.

If anyone has an RP guild on one of the EQII servers and doesn't mind housing an EQ refugee/EQII noob, I'd be thrilled to roll on your server and play!

Outside of that, I'm primarily here just to know I'm not alone in being an older gamer - especially an older female gamer.

Welcome. Just need you to say you have read the faq and aup's. Then you will be admitted shortley. Once admitted you are of course NEVER required to join a TOG guild, but you will always be welcome. We have TOG guilds on most of the other games you mentioned you play. SWG is one on the Vacyln server for example.

Once again welcome and nice intro.

I did indeed read them over, although perhaps as a heads-up, your link from the FAQ to the AUP is broken. (at least in Firefox it isn't working...) It wasn't until I went to register that I was given the text of the AUP, which I then read.

Thanks! I might just jump over to Vacyln to say Hi! I never played SWG beyond the initial month, admittedly. I understand they've completely changed the game since then, so I'm curious to see how those changes have affected gameplay.

Introduce yourself and ask any further questions you may have.
You will find other TOG members most helpful if you take the time to aks any questions you may have.

The social heart of TOG can be found in “The Lounge Room”, where any topic is being discussed and debated. If you want to know the other TOG members across the whole of TOG visit the Lounge Room.
Want to know when the next real life get together is of TOG members, again the lounge room is the place to be.
