TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello guys. I am 43 on Easter Monday....17th April. I am in sunny Queensland, Australia. I just bought COD2 and am loving the online component. I have a few other games I would like to try online....such as BF2 and BF 1942.

I really really suck badly at this stuff....but I am learning.

I have been playing with PC's since the school days of the Tandy TRS-80 and datasets....hmmm hours of typing in code to land a lunar module....so much fun.

I am a mad motorcycle rider and I am a Postie (that is a postal delivery officer) at Caloundra on the Sunny Coast in Queensland. Death and mayhem and dodging the idiots on the road seem to go hand in hand with gaming and being a postie...so hopefully I will get better at this as I go.

I have three computers hooked up on a LAN and use ADSL via a four port Billion 5100 router....no ADSL 2/2+ for me I am afraid.

Can't think of much more to say....hopefully I will get to know some of you as we hack and slash our way through the hours online.

EDIT:- Oops, I also certify that I have read the AUP and FAQ's and do confirm that I will adhere to them. (Sorry about missing that.)

Don't worry about being bad we all have to start somewhere, best practise is online as you learn quicker from other people.
