TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello folks, how are ya'll doin? I'll start off by saying that I have read the AUP and FAQ, and understand and agree with it. I am 24 years old and my wife is 27. I know for myself, that the minimum age requirement is not met, however I'll still seek membership. I am a surgical tech at a veterinary hopsital and put in close to 50 hours weekly. My wife is a nursing student, with 1 more year left before she's finished with her BSN, at which time we plan on moving to N.C. We're currently in the NW panhandle of Florida. We have a little girl who is a strong 3.5 years old and pushing 12 already. We've just started playing WoW again on Proudmoore, where I play a 14 priest and she plays a 17 mage. We usually get in a little playtime after dinner and 'Lil Bit' has been tucked in, gives us a few hours to have some fun together, rather than just watching TV. Sometimes 'Bit will play a char with one of us, but she has the attention span of, well a 3 yo

so she doesn't play for that long, when she does get to play. If it's possible for both of us to join, or at least have a trial period to see how we mesh with others on the Proudmoore server, it'd be nice. There aren't many guilds, at least that we have been able to find, that are understanding to the fact that some playing the game are fulltime working moms and dads, who don't have their youth to devote to the game. Someone sent us the link here,from the Proudmoore server forums, and after reading what the group is about, it almost seemed perfect.

hiya evan. is your wife a member of tog yet? we have a rule that if a spouse of a member is not yet 25 then they can still join our ranks. Just the one that is over 25 must be a full member......so if your wife joins up, then you will be allowed in also.

No she is not currently. She's new to the MMO thing for the most part really. Her only prior experience was console(atari,nintendo,etc) I'll see if I can get her to make a post on our part, and possibly run into a few folks in WoW
