Howdy all, I'm sick of youngsters

Ok, so I just turned 40 last March. Sue me.

I've read the TOG AUP & FAQ, no issues with either.

I'm a mechanical engineer by day, which earns me enough to support my family and pay for pretty computers to waste my free time with. Just so you know I'm well rounded, I also regularly ride street and dirt motorcycles, street and dirt bicycles, and a stand-up jet ski... and by "regularly", I mean a lot more than once a year.

I've been playing computer games since the original Atari. My first PC was a Tandy 1000Tx during my Army days, on which I played Microprose Gunship enough to earn the Metal of Honor.. heh. Since Wolf 3D (yes, I also played Castle Wolfenstein on my friend's Apple II) and Doom, I've been a FPS guy, going through most of them until I discovered MMO with Planetside.

Through Planetside I hooked up with my current Guild/Outfit, Nova: www.novagamers.com. I'm one of the original officers with them. After playing PS for almost 2 years, we moved on to WoW. My initial trouble with that game was that I couldn't keep up with the youngsters who lvl 60 in 3 weeks.... me having a life and all. Of course they've all burnt out now on WoW and are back to PS... go figure.

In any case I have an NC BR20/CR5 on Markov, and two lvl 60 characters on the WoW server Sargeras. I've got several folks I consider friends in Nova, but I think it's time I find a more like minded (mature) group. I realize Sargeras isn't one of your servers, but I figure I can use PS in the meantime to determine if I want to bail on Nova completely. Hopefully Bliz will allow unlimited character transfers some day.

Looks like you've only just scraped in on the age limit (lower, not upper ), and your papers seem to be in order, so stand by for an admin to breeze through here soon with the electric cattle prod they call a TOG stick to TOGgerise you (and, no, it doesn't hurt... well not too much anyway )

Welcome to TOG! Don't discount our WoW guilds just because we're on a different server. We've got plenty of people still at lower levels that you can join up with and have some fun. And who knows, those paid server transfers are just around the corner, and then you could move over your heavy hitters and join some of the bigger raids.
