Question A message to our regular welcoming committee

There are a bunch of regular TOG'ers that visit the barracks frequently to welcome the new guys/gals. Thanks for that. Ask any of them what it feels like to get a warm response on the forum. It feels great! Good work - it's not overlooked.

Hopefully you guys can help the Admins admit the rookies a little quicker and take some of the load. It doesn't require much more than you're doing already.

DON'T DO THIS NOW but sometime next week, we'll ask you to welcome the guys as you are now, and if everything is squared off, the AUP and age etc, then we'll ask you to rate the thread and put one star beside it. DON'T DO THIS YET.

The Admin's will then focus on the one star threads and turn them into 3 star threads when they are fully processed, knowing that those that missed something are being well looked after.

This will be a win-win as the Admins don't have to open a lot of posts to find that the application is not quite complete and all we can add is something that half a dozen other posters have already said.

THIS SYSTEM IS NOT IN PLACE YET

I've approached a few people and the support is generally good. Thanks for supporting the Admins while we support the members.

BUT NOT YET!

Fox's idea is great & I support it 100%.

As you guys well know, sometimes there is just an absolute stack of applications to go through & it does take time to process each one.

You have to check that the AUP/FAQ is read, then the age requirement, then we have to add our post, go into the admin program & rate the the thread so we know it's done.

If you guys could do this, NOT YET it would save some time & be very helpful.
