a letter of application
Hello!
I'd like to sign up for membership if you'll have me - as per designated process, I have read and totally accept the terms of the FAQ, guidelines, and AUP, and I'm 29 years old in August. Why am I here? I'm searching for relaxed, mature players/guild to adventure with in WoW, and to shoot the breeze with generally. Found this community by chance from this page. I love WoW but it's hard finding like-minded company! Having only played WoW for last 2 months on Jubei'Thos and Proudmoore, now that i have good grasp of game I'd like to roll a new char and join a horde guild on a PvP/RPPvP server with a good aussie/kiwi population to counter the timezone problem, but need advice to which server and TOG guild is most appropriate to apply for membership to. Brief intro: I'm a freelance web monkey trained in the deepest pits of advertising, and I am getting hitched in November this year to the most beautiful and understanding non-gamer in the world. As for my gaming background: being a dedicated mac user I've had to be a console kid to supplement my games addiction. Favourite games are Windwaker, Ocarina of Time, Ico and Psychonauts. Spent most of the last years of last century playing Quake, Red Alert, Team Fortress and CS, but I'm more interested in making friends than killing them these days

Over the last 5 years, I've tried Dixi_Lady, believe me! Tekken, Mario Kart, Zelda, Animal Crossing, the list goes on and on ... she just doesn't "get" gaming. Every time i thought i'd made a breakthrough and made her the perfect woman, it turned out to be only mock enthusaism on her behalf *sigh*
Now, I actually think it's probably better this way, so that I have a life outside of my bandwidth
